Stop Googling Canva Questions. Ask me instead …

Playful lavender graphic with the text ‘Before you ask Google, ask me instead’ — blending Google’s colourful logo with a friendly handwritten script to encourage readers to seek Canva and design guidance directly from Stephanie.

Everything you actually want to know about working with me

You’re on Google again, aren’t you?

Typing something like:

“How to make my Canva graphic look more professional”
“Canva vs Canva Pro, which is better?”
“Why does my design look weird on Instagram?”

I see you! Because I work with the brilliant, busy women who Google those exact things.

Usually, after hours, while second-guessing themselves.

The problem isn’t Canva. It’s your strategy that doesn’t fit. And strategy doesn’t come from a template or a tutorial. That’s where I come in.

So, instead of playing Whack-a-Mole with your design problems, let’s answer the actual questions that matter:

1. Why Canva

Because you’re running a business. Not applying for art school.

Canva let’s you create designs quickly, beautifully, and consistently (once you know what you’re doing). You stay in control. And I help you make it work like it was made for you.

2. Do I really need Canva Pro

Look, I will never tell you to buy something just for the sake of it. If you’re using Canva for personal projects or the odd social post? You can absolutely get away with the free version.

But … and that’s a big but … if you’re selling services and want your client’s content to look like you know what you’re doing?

Then, FFS, invest in Pro.

It saves time. It unlocks tools that make you faster and your designs sharper.

You can remove backgrounds, resize designs properly, and access hundreds of thousands of brand-safe images. It’s not a splurge, it’s a business tool.

So, no, you don’t need Canva Pro. But if you’re here to show up like a pro, then yes, you kinda do.

3. Does it matter where I post my Canva design?

You’d be surprised how many people create a graphic and THEN ask where to put it.

Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn … they all have different dimensions. A graphic that looks great on one platform can look chopped or just plain awkward on another.

Plan it properly, and save yourself and your brand some embarrassment.

4. I don't have a brand yet. Can we still work together?

Yes, in fact, this is a great place to begin.

We’re not talking logos here. We’re talking clarity: colours, fonts, voice, feel.

If your business looks like ten different people designed it, your audience won’t know what to trust. We fix that—together.

5. I want to change my brand ... again

Totally fine. But let’s figure out why.

Did it never fit to begin with? Has your business evolved? Or are you just stuck in another rabbit hole of Pinterest palettes?

Together, we’ll ask better questions so you’re not rebranding out of boredom or self-doubt, but because it’s the right move for your business.

6. Someone else made this design ... I hate it

Been there. You paid for it, and now you feel stuck using it even though it doesn’t feel like you. Or worse: it does feel like you … on a bad day.

I’m your safe space. You can say, “I hate it.” I’ll help you figure out what’s wrong and what to do about it. All without drama.

7. Does this look ok?

You don’t want polite BS and I won’t give you polite BS.

You want real? That’s what you get.

✔️ If it works, I’ll tell you
❌ If it doesn’t, I’ll explain why, what’s fixable, and what needs to go.

No sugar-coating, and definitely no Canva-shaming.

8. I've run out of ideas. What the heck do I do?

If you’re staring at a blank Canva screen thinking, “Maybe I’ll just post a quote,” it’s time to talk.

You don’t need more content. You need smarter content. Designs that support your goals and help people see you as the expert you are.

That’s the strategy. That’s my jam.

You're asking good questions. But they're not the right ones

The real questions sound more like:

  • What does my content need to do for my business?
  • How do I look confident, even when I’m not feeling it?
  • What graphics will grow my visibility and credibility, not just fill the feed?

You’re not meant to know these answers. That’s my job.

Want to stop guessing? I've got you
